This Certificate will teach you the core knowledge and skills needed to succeed including diagnosing mechanical repairs needed with the use of specialised tools and equipment. When you complete this course, you will be on the pathway towards higher Certificate IV and Diploma qualifications to become a Diagnostic Technician.

Entry Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must demonstrate satisfactory completion of studies in applicant’s home country equivalent to an Australian Year 10 qualification
- Must submit accredited English test results from the past 2 years (ex: IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, PTE, or OET)
- Must hold a current Student Visa (SSC will assist you in visa application)

Study Methods and Course Intake Schedule
Start Dates
There are 9 enrolment intakes so you can start your course without delay. The course includes five (5) terms with 4 10-week terms and 1 5-week term.
Blended Classroom and Online Learning
To complete the course, you will complete 15 hours of face–to–face classroom sessions and 5 hours of online learning modules per week (total of 20 hours per week).
You will also have access to additional educational support services and activities on top of the weekly schedule to support your studies.
Course Duration
Depending on your existing knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the course, this course may take up to 1350 hours completed over a period of 49 – 52 weeks.

We want to see you succeed in your studies. There is extra time available to students for small group or one–to–one tutorial support. You book into these free sessions any week during term if you need some help with your studies
